, Globe has added close to 300,000 new postpaid subscribers from previous year, compared to just 182,000 new customers gained by its closest competitor during the same period. This has brought total Globe postpaid subscriber base to 1.66 million, over 1 million more than competition's postpaid customer base.
The company's postpaid business has likewise posted record-high growth in subscriber revenues, growing to
in the same quarter in 2011. This is a 25% increase year-on-year, nearly twice the reported revenue growth of competition.
