Gilad Shainer has served in a series of leadership positions since joining Mellanox. Most recently, Mr. Shainer was Mellanox's vice president of market development from February 2012 to March 2013. Mr. Shainer joined Mellanox in 2001 as a design engineer and later managed several hardware and software product developments. Mr. Shainer later served in senior marketing management roles between July 2005 and February 2012. He also holds several patents in the field of high-speed networking and has contributed to the PCI-SIG PCI-X and PCIe specifications. Mr. Shainer led the foundation of the HPC Advisory Council, a non-profit organization focused on high-performance computing outreach and education with more than 360 member companies, and has served as its chairman since 2008. Gilad Shainer holds a MSc degree (2001, Cum Laude) and a BSc degree (1998, Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel.About Mellanox
