NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) hit a new 52-week high Thursday as it is currently trading at $16.48, above its previous 52-week high of $16.42 with 558,876 shares traded as of 9:55 a.m. ET. Average volume has been 13.4 million shares over the past 30 days.

Delta Air Lines has a market cap of $13.65 billion and is part of the services sector and transportation industry. Shares are up 37.8% year to date as of the close of trading on Wednesday.
