On the negative front, top decliners within the sector include HDFC Bank ( HDB), down 2.8%, Nomura Holdings ( NMR), down 2.6%, Citigroup ( C), down 1.9%, Shinhan Financial Group ( SHG), down 2.0% and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group ( MTU), down 1.9%.
