A new Verizon Wireless cell site was also activated last February in
, another community that experienced heavy storm damage. Together, the two sites represent a
investment by Verizon Wireless to enhance wireless service in these areas following the devastation of Hurricane Irene.

in network enhancements across Upstate New York in 2012. This is the 12
consecutive year the company has invested more than
in the region. The company's network investment in Upstate New York now totals more than
since 2000. The company continues the rapid rollout of its 4G LTE network across Upstate New York and will have its entire nationwide footprint covered by 4G LTE by the middle of the year.
Two years after its launch, the Verizon 4G LTE network is available to more than 273 million people across the U.S. – close to 89 percent of the U.S. population.
