NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- KKR (NYSE:KKR) hit a new 52-week high Monday as it is currently trading at $18.46, above its previous 52-week high of $18.45 with 384,334 shares traded as of 10:06 a.m. ET. Average volume has been 2.4 million shares over the past 30 days.

KKR has a market cap of $4.75 billion and is part of the financial sector and financial services industry. Shares are up 19.6% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday.

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. is a private equity investment firm specializing in acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, special situations, growth equity, mature, and middle market investments. The company has a P/E ratio of 8.2, below the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
