Kersten Mitton Rivas, Managing Director at Havas Worldwide New York, has been named one of the Advertising Working Mothers of the Year by Working Mother magazine and Advertising Women of
New York (AWNY) in the Established Moms category.
Kersten has spent her career working on a variety of businesses from regional to global from traditional to social from CPG to telecommunications. In addition to her many years in the industry, she also spent three years in
Paris with her husband and became the mother of two great little people. It was Havas that enticed her back to the world of advertising and communications upon her return to the US.
Since then, Kersten has been a leader at Havas Worldwide New York for almost 6 years. In addition to management responsibilities, she stewards the highly acclaimed Dos Equis campaign; led the agency team in winning Dreamwork's and Technicolor's new venture called M-GO; and maintains executive leadership on the global powerhouse Reckitt Benckiser in the US.
