Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen R. Brown, President & Chief Executive Officer of
Hudson Valley Bank, has announced that several Branch Managers and a Cash Management specialist, have been promoted to Branch Area Manager positions. They are:
Moira Kiernan, Central Avenue,
Rebecca Polanco, Cash Management;
Mount Vernon; and
Linda Carrington, currently First Vice President and
Mount Kisco Branch Manager, will be responsible for the
Elmsford branches. Linda has been with
Hudson Valley Bank since 1990 where she started as the Assistant Manager for the
Peekskill Branch. She was promoted to the Branch Manager in
Mount Kisco in 1993.
Moira Kiernan, First Vice President and Central Avenue Branch Manager, will be responsible for overall management of the Central Avenue and Church Street Branches in
White Plains. She joined
Hudson Valley as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Central Avenue Branch in 2007.
Rebecca Polanco, Vice President, has been with
Hudson Valley Bank since 2005. She started as a Vice President in Branch Administration, was named a Relationship Manager for the
Bronx region in 2007 and has served as a Cash Management specialist since 2011. She will serve as Area Manager for the Bank's
Bronx Branches, including Hutch Metro, Allerton, Tremont and the HUB, as well as the bank's East Harlem Branch.
Patrick Smith, First Vice President and
Mount Vernon Branch Manager, joined
Hudson Valley Bank in 2001 as the Manager for the
New Rochelle Branch. He was promoted to Branch Manager of the
Mount Vernon Branch in 2005 and will serve as the Area Manager for
Eastchester and Port Chester branches.
Gregory Sousa joined
Hudson Valley Bank in 2008 as a Vice President and Branch Manager for the
New City Branch. He has been named Rockland Area Sales Manager responsible for the bank's
New City and Suffern branches, as well as coordinating all sales activity in

Patricia Marlow, Senior Vice President and Area Manager for the Yonkers branches and
Arlene DeBenedictis, First Vice President for
All of our branches are now grouped into "areas" to provide additional support for our managers as we build our business and move the Bank forward, according to Mr. Brown. "In light of the rapidly changing banking industry, Area Managers will help us effectively and efficiently manage our business, while maintaining our high level of customer service." All Area Managers report to
Michael Gilfeather, Executive Vice President.
