Raycom began its partnership with Rentrak in 2010 with two stations, WBTV (CBS)
and WBRC (FOX)
. Over the past 30 months, Raycom has continued to expand and solidify the partnership, as it now uses Rentrak's TV audience insights at 30 local stations representing 23 television markets.
Rentrak's foundation of massive databases of passively-measured TV viewing information merged with consumer purchase behavior information, creates a unique system for understanding how purchasers of products truly interact with television programming.
