First Tennessee Receives Top Grades From Customers For Treasury Management Services

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Tennessee Bank received top grades in the 2013 Phoenix-Hecht Treasury Management Quality Index TM in the middle market banking segment. The top grades were awarded by senior financial executives responsible for managing their companies' bank relationships for treasury management services in categories including customer service, product features and overall relationship manager effectiveness. First Tennessee is part of the First Horizon National Corp. (NYSE:FHN) family of companies.

"Our goal is to be easy to do business with, and these high grades from our customers for our treasury management services confirm that we are fulfilling our commitment," said Lynne Walker, SVP, treasury management executive for First Tennessee. "Providing a top-quality product with exceptional service delivered by knowledgeable employees adds up to a differentiated customer experience, and it is an honor to be recognized for our efforts."

First Tennessee's treasury management services were also recognized earlier this year by Greenwich Associates. First Tennessee received top customer satisfaction honors in both the national and regional categories for treasury management in the 2012 Greenwich Excellence Awards for U.S. middle market and small business banking.

The Phoenix-Hecht Treasury Management Quality Index TM evaluates banks in three major areas of quality including products, perceptions about bank and treasury management relationship manager and assigns an average grade based on responses to the annual survey of treasury management services. The survey respondents are senior financial executives responsible for managing the bank relationships for treasury management services. The survey targets public and private U.S. corporations in two segments -- middle market, with $20 - $500 million in annual sales, and large corporate, with more than $500 million in annual sales.
