New UnitedHealthcare International Alliances Provide Members Coverage Options In Czech Republic, Access To Network Providers Across Africa
UnitedHealthcare International, a UnitedHealth Group business (NYSE: UNH), is offering new coverage options for its Global Solutions plan members traveling or residing in the Czech Republic, as well as access to a new ‘cashless’ medical provider network for people traveling in Africa.
Global Solutions is UnitedHealthcare’s global health insurance program for employers of all sizes with employees based internationally. Its alliance with MAXIMA Insurance, Inc., will provide UnitedHealthcare’s Global Solutions members with Czech insurance coverage and services, which are required of all expatriates under Czech immigration law.
The agreement with Medical Services Organisation (MSO) in South Africa will provide UnitedHealthcare’s Global Solutions members access to care at medical providers on a cashless (direct settlement) basis, as well as various claim and assistance services in more than 30 countries in Africa.
