Eyelit’s Award-winning Integrated Manufacturing Execution (MES) Software Selected By EMagin, The Leading Manufacturer Of OLED Microdisplays

Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today that eMagin Corporation (NYSE MKT: EMAN), the leader in Active-Matrix Organic LED (AMOLED) manufacturing, has selected Eyelit MES™ to further optimize production efficiency at its manufacturing facility located in IBM Microelectronics Division’s fab in Fishkill, New York.

The deployment of Eyelit MES is intended to help eMagin realize the following benefits of production efficiency:

• Lower fixed costs through reduced cycle time
• Ramp production rapidly to meet customer demand
• Protect proprietary technology and processes

“Eyelit’s solution provides us with product traceability and precise manufacturing controls for our complex processes that combine semiconductor and display technologies for our microdisplay business,” stated John Coleman, Director of Manufacturing for eMagin. “Eyelit’s MES enables flexible configuration to manage our entire spectrum of processes with stringent enforcement of tight specifications. The implementation will help us to configure processes quickly with WIP tracking to improve visibility, and to phase in higher-level functions such as SPC and equipment management. The system can be rapidly implemented, without having to write code, and will be locally maintained by a small internal team without the need for external consultants.
