Teliphone Corp. Announces Appointment Of Chris Convey As Chief Financial Officer

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 21, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vancouver based Teliphone Corp. (OTCQB:TLPH), one of the world's local digital telecommunications companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Convey as its Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Chris Convey is a highly qualified for this position having served as the Chief Financial Officer of Uniserve Communications Corp. from October 2011 to December 13, 2012. Prior to Uniserve he successively served as Vice President of Finance for two hi-technology firms and was responsible for the financial, legal and commercial aspects of the corporations. He further served as the Financial Controller for PA Consulting's Venture Investment arm. Mr. Convey has a wealth of Telecom experience from Cable & Wireless and British Telecom in a range of financial and commercial roles, as well as considerable knowledge of the high-tech and venture capital sectors. A UK qualified Chartered Management Accountant, he is well versed in providing the financial and operational frameworks necessary to execute on strategic goals. Mr. Convey also holds a B.A. in Japanese and French from the University of Durham.

Mr. Convey replaces Tim Sansom, the CFO of Navigata Communications 2009 Inc. who remained with the company during the initial transition period after Teliphone acquired it main operations and network in December 2012. Tim has been very valuable during this time, allowing the transition to proceed smoothly.
