Global Trends In The Medical Devices Industry

LONDON, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Top representatives from the healthcare industry are confirmed to attend MEDTEC Europe, which will take place in Stuttgart, Germany on the 26-28 February 2013. Siddharth Saha, Frost & Sullivan Healthcare Research Director, is set to participate to the event with a presentation focusing on global market trends, challenges and opportunities in the medical devices industry.

Recessionary forces and market maturity notwithstanding, the global medical devices industry is poised for significant growth, driven by emerging markets and solutions that are more aligned to the healthcare ecosystem. Frost & Sullivan will cover trends and opportunities in the global markets looking at metrics, predictions for the future and summary of attractive market segments.

"To stay competitive in the continually shifting market landscape, companies are increasingly looking at re-aligning their value propositions to match with the realities on the ground in high growth markets while also re-setting their internal goals with customer as the focus," said Siddharth Saha, Director of Healthcare Research at Frost & Sullivan.

MEDTEC Europe 2013, which is organised by UBM Canon, will bring together top medical devices representatives under one roof, who will address the industry key issues - ranging from the evolving regulatory landscape to challenges in clinical development, and more.
