Ventura Technology Renews Membership In CMTL's Intel® Advanced Tested Memory Compatibility Program

ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --  CMTL, ( www.cmtlabs.com) the industry's leading independent and Intel Advanced memory compatibility test lab, announced today that Ventura Technology has renewed membership participation in CMTL's Intel Advanced Memory Compatibility testing program.   CMTL provides independent compatibility testing of modules on Intel desktop and server platforms using the Intel advanced memory compatibility test process. The advanced test process includes room and elevated temperature, minimum and maximum load configurations, voltage margining when required and Intel proprietary or commercial test software and tools depending on the Intel motherboard or system selected.

CMTL was formed in 1996 in conjunction with Intel to perform 3 ^rd party independent memory module compatibility tests on Intel platforms. CMTL recommends Intel motherboard customers buy memory that successfully passes Intel's advanced compatibility testing process and is on each specific Intel motherboard approved memory list. Modules not on the approved Intel memory lists are not supported by Intel and may experience sporadic errors, unstable functionality, performance issues, intermittent speed variations and system crashes.
