Kaelus Showcases New Products At Mobile World Congress 2013

Kaelus, a Smiths Interconnect business, announced today that it will be exhibiting at the Mobile World Congress 2013 to be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 25 to March 1, 2013 (Hall 7, Booth 7G107.) Kaelus will be showcasing its new iPA portable, battery-operated PIM test analyzer; enhancements to the line of iQA PIM Test Analyzers; and a new solution to support in-building Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS.)

The iPA is a rugged, battery-powered PIM Test Analyzer versatile enough to support multiple test scenarios such as testing at the top of the tower, base of tower, roof top and in-building for DAS systems. Each iPA comes equipped with remote control functionality including an iPad Mini allowing the operator hands-free testing to ensure a safe and efficient portable field testing experience.

The iPA will be demonstrated alongside the current proven industry-leading PIM analyzer, the Kaelus iQA. Kaelus will continue to promote the feature rich, ultra rugged iQA, including the addition of the outstanding flexibility of remote control.

The Kaelus DAS Interface Solution (DIS) is designed to support low PIM environments by providing the power management interface between an in-building RF source (BTS or repeater) and SISO or MIMO DAS head end.
