, will provide attendees with an update on the power and gas markets as well as tips for data acquisition, deal structuring, contract review, product selection and contract execution.

"Developing an effective procurement strategy that maximizes today's opportunities – while aligning with key business drivers – will be critical in mitigating price risk and effectively managing usage and costs."
Braun has more than two decades of experience in the energy and utilities industry, including 14 years in deregulated electricity and natural gas markets across the United States. He has a broad background in helping buyers determine price-risk tolerance and identify strategies that manage commodity market risk, budget flexibility and the need for price certainty.
In addition to Braun's panel presentation, the conference will also feature best practices, case studies and instructional sessions on topics such as the impact of the shale boom on the energy market, energy savings opportunities, funding sources and incentives, competitive electricity markets and new technologies to reduce energy costs.
