Gilbert L. Scott Is Recognized By Continental Who's Who As A Pinnacle Professional In The Field Of Engineering

BROWNSBURG, Ind., Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- /Continental Who's Who/ -- Gilbert L. Scott is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Engineering. Gilbert is a Retired Validation Engineer with Roche Diagnostics.

Throughout his career, Gilbert was responsible for Engineering as well as Research and Development. One of his most notable career accomplishments took place during his role as a Reliability Engineer. In this capacity, Gilbert developed field failure rate prediction methods for manufacturing and environmental-related field failures as well as introducing to Roche Diagnostics techniques for measuring the impact of manufacturing and environment on field failure rates. He also introduced analytical techniques for measuring life test results. In his capacity as a Finishing Engineer, he developed the technique of square wave analysis of high screen current rejects in electron tubes.

As a result of his vast accomplishments, Gilbert has been recognized with the "Man of the Year Award" from the American Biographical Institute in 2003. He has also received the "Lifetime Achievement Award", and " DaVinci Diamond Award" for Outstanding Contributions to Reliability Engineering from  the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England.

Gilbert earned his B.S. in Economics from DePauw University.
