New Staples Advantage Campaign Battles Office Bacteria!

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 14, 2013 /CNW/ - Had enough of the colds and flu that come with winter?  Staples Advantage, the business-to-business division of Staples, wants to help you fight back.  This week, the company is launching a campaign promoting practical ways to get tough with office germs.

Germs can be found on everything we touch in the office - keyboards, faucet handles, microwave buttons, and lunchroom counters - patiently waiting for up to three days for a comfortable human host to adopt them.  The office cleaning staff can't win this one alone - what's needed is a militia of employee "germ warriors", armed with the latest user-friendly cleaning products.

Until March 31, visitors to the campaign website can watch an eye-opening video on how easily and quickly germs can spread, participate in an online quiz to see how their offices stack up, and receive special promotions and giveaways to help keep their workspace clean.

"Healthy workplaces are all about team effort," says Michael Zahra, President of Staples Advantage Canada. "The goal of this campaign is to demonstrate not only the importance of regular office cleaning, but how every employee can and should play a part in keeping office germs under control."
