Digital Insurance (
www.digitalinsurance.com), the nation's largest and most technologically advanced employee benefits-only agency is partnering with CUNA Mutual Group. The company’s largest division, Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA), will provide expanded resources, enhanced client services and expertise to help credit unions navigate the complexities of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and employee benefits strategy.
“Digital and CUNA Mutual Group are a natural fit,” says Adam Bruckman, president and CEO of Digital Insurance. “The partnership will help their customers address a significant business need, ensuring they are knowledgeable about changes in health care reform and prepared to modify their employee benefits packages accordingly.”
DBA combines the commitment of experienced, local market advisors with the sophisticated technology and innovative resources of a respected national company. Employers receive access to a broader variety of dynamic tools, proprietary products and the ability to effectively navigate the complexities of health care reform.
In addition, Digital has hired credit union employee benefits veteran, David Martin, as managing principal of the company’s credit union services. Prior to joining Digital, Martin was an employee benefits practice leader for CUNA Mutual Group, independent consultant with My Benefit Experience Inc., vice president and employee benefits practice leader with HUB International Limited, and vice president of sales and operations/co-founder at Westbrook Financial Services Inc.
“David’s long history working with credit unions will benefit our partnership with CUNA Mutual Group and enhance our service to their clients,” says Mike Sullivan, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Digital Insurance.
“Health care reform is changing the way businesses offer and fund employee health plans,” explains Brad Pricer, senior manager of employee benefits, CUNA Mutual Group. “Regardless of whether a credit union opts to offer employee health insurance going forward, it will need to ensure it is compliant with the new law.”
