Raytheon's Airport Surface Management System, TowerTrac, Makes International Debut At World ATM Congress

MADRID, Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) is running demonstrations of its TowerTrac integrated NextGen airport tower system for the first time before an international audience at the World ATM Congress. The system improves the efficiency, capacity and safety of airport operations by networking data that can be shared by controllers, pilots, ramp operators and other airport users.

Among its benefits, TowerTrac's digital flight strips can be accessed by touch screen technology, allowing them to be shared among controllers.
