Forestar Group Inc. Reports Full Year And Fourth Quarter 2012 Results

Forestar Group Inc. operates in three business segments: real estate, mineral resources and fiber resources. At the end of fourth quarter 2012, the real estate segment owns directly or through ventures almost 136,000 acres of real estate located in ten states and fourteen markets in the U.S. The real estate segment has 15 real estate projects representing approximately 26,070 acres currently in the entitlement process, and 74 entitled, developed and under development projects in seven states and eleven markets encompassing almost 14,400 acres, comprised of 23,800 planned residential lots and almost 2,400 commercial acres.
