Columbia Management Taps Industry Veteran Jeffrey Knight To Lead Global Asset Allocation Team

Columbia Management announced today that veteran portfolio manager Jeffrey L. Knight, CFA has joined the firm in a new position as Head of Global Asset Allocation. Mr. Knight will oversee an existing suite of asset allocation solutions, including institutional strategies and mutual funds.

The Global Asset Allocation Team at Columbia Management currently manages a diverse lineup of asset allocation strategies including capital allocation, risk allocation, risk parity and total return products and solutions.

Mr. Knight joins Columbia Management from Putnam Investments, where he most recently managed several mutual funds and institutional strategies as Head of Global Asset Allocation. He began at Putnam in 1993 as Senior Quantitative Analyst in the Global Asset Allocation Group and was instrumental in the development of quantitative models and methodologies. His investment industry career began in 1987.
