The Toy of The Year (TOTY) award is the latest accolade earned by Perplexus ™ Epic, which also received the PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Media Seal of Approval, among others.

Perplexus from PlaSmart Inc. is the ultimate in the Perplexus ™ family of fixed-track, 3D marble maze games. Players must guide a small steel ball around an intricate, 30-foot-long track inside a large, transparent sphere. Unlike traditional, flat-surface mazes, Perplexus ™ Epic challenges players with 125 paths and dozens of barriers.  Along with hours of intriguing entertainment, Perplexus ™ Epic helps promote cognitive development, motor, dexterity and problem-solving skills, and contributes to hand-eye coordination improvement.

There are four Perplexus models, each with a varying degree of difficulty. Perplexus ™ Original with 100 barriers to overcome was launched in 2010.  Perplexus ™ Epic, the most challenging model with 125 barriers to overcome, and Perplexus ™ Rookie for ages 4 to 104, with 70 barriers to overcome, were launched in 2011.
