Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced a new product offering designed for the more than 14,000 members of the Flexible Benefits Plans (FBP) Employers Association. Under the affinity program, Aetna’s individual, small group and Aetna Voluntary Hospital plans are now available to Association members. Flexible Benefits Plans, Inc. (FBP) is a third-party benefits administrator and brokerage firm, handling employee benefits for a number of business associations and group clients throughout Pennsylvania.

The Aetna Voluntary Hospital Plan (AVHP) will be offered to all association members, whether they choose an individual or small group plan. The plan can be offered as a fully employee-paid plan or with any portion paid by the employer, when combined with an Aetna plan. The AVHP pays hospital claims on a fully integrated basis, with no additional claim forms required.Aetna provides health benefits to more than 1 million members in Pennsylvania.
