Zions Bancorporation Receives Thirteen Greenwich Excellence Awards For 2012

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ: ZION) is pleased to announce that it has received 13 Greenwich Excellence Awards for 2012. The awards are based on more than 40,000 market research interviews with companies in the United States. Of the more than 750 banks evaluated, only 51 were cited for distinctive quality, and only 11 banks received more than 10 Excellence awards.

"We are honored to have been recognized once again by these awards for what we believe are some of the best products and services available in the industry," said Harris Simmons, chairman and CEO. "It is a testament to our commitment to our customers that we were recognized for overall customer satisfaction in both middle market and small business banking. In fact, we were one of only 16 banks to receive the award in middle market banking and one of only 20 in small business banking. This recognition is a tribute to our commercial bankers, who are considered by their clients to be the best in the industry; and to the professionals in our Treasury Management Group, whose expertise and efforts are exceptional. These awards demonstrate the dedication of our bankers to providing the highest quality products and exceptional customer service day after day, year after year."
