Africa mobile telecom leader MTN Group. Aviat Networks currently provides a comprehensive portfolio of Support Services to MTN Ghana, including Technical Support and Corrective Maintenance in support of the operator's installed base of microwave backhaul equipment. Leveraging a combination of local resources, global support teams and its own ProVision monitoring capabilities Aviat Networks continues to provide substantially improved network availability across components of the network.
The company is now delivering critical replacement parts to MTN Ghana cellular sites faster than was previously possible in order to maximize network availability. AviatCare supports Aviat's Eclipse Packet Node radios that comprise the highest proportion of MTN Ghana's microwave backhaul and plays a crucial role from the access portion of the network to the backbone. Aviat has supplied Eclipse equipment to MTN Ghana since 2007.
