Tom Rancel Joins Telesphere's Regional Indirect Channel Team

PHOENIX, Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Telesphere, a leading privately-held provider of cloud-based unified-communications-as-a-service (UCaaS), today announced that veteran telecommunications/data sales executive Tom Rancel has joined the company as Regional Indirect Channel Manager.

At Telesphere, Rancel will enlist agents and master agents to represent Telesphere for all states east of the Mississippi River.  Rancel will manage the ongoing relationships and serve as Telesphere's primary interface to Indirect Channel Partner companies.  Initially, Rancel will be targeting expansion efforts within New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Illinois and Pennsylvania.

Rancel has a long history of success from his previous sales management positions at One Communications/Earthlink Business, Clearwire, Skytel USA and XO Communications.  While at XO Communications, Rancel was a Channel Manager for Southeast Florida.  There, he took a territory from last to first place in sales and helped successfully launch the first 4G network in New York City.
