office of Prophet, a brand and marketing consultancy, has been elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).

White, a member of the PDMA since 1994, has stepped up his involvement in the last several years. After speaking at its well-known Product Innovation Management Conference, he was asked to serve on its organizing committee and served as its co-chair over the last two years. Among his more significant credits were moves to reorganize the event around next and best practices, and to recruit top-tier speakers from businesses like General Mills, Procter and Gamble and IBM.

White has been a consultant in innovation and marketing strategy for over 15 years. He was Managing Principal of (r)evolution, an
consultancy, that was acquired by Prophet last August.
A frequent speaker and author on subjects related to innovation and marketing strategy, White was named 2007 Atlanta Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association (AMA). He is active in the AMA and also serves on the
Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
