MONETT, Mo., Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:JKHY), a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry, today announced that it has been named one of America's Top Workplaces by WorkplaceDynamics. Jack Henry & Associates was named number 102 out of the 872 organizations with more than 1,000 employees that participated in regional Top Workplaces programs.
The National Top Workplaces list was determined solely by feedback gathered through an objective employee survey. The survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, the leading on-demand employee survey provider, in conjunction with 30 leading regional newspapers. The survey uses a proprietary set of 22 questions to rate companies. Details about the National Top Workplace, a full list of the top 150 companies, the survey methodology, and factors that drive organization health are available at www.topworkplaces.com.
In addition to this national recognition, five regional publications acknowledged Jack Henry & Associates as a top workplace during 2012. These rankings take into consideration a company's ability to provide their employees with a superior level of professional growth opportunities, managerial qualities, and environmental conditions. The following lists acknowledged Jack Henry & Associates and its divisions during 2012: Computer World Best Places to Work in IT, The Dallas Morning News National Standard Top Workplace, the Houston Chronicle Top Workplaces, the San Diego Business Journal Best Places to Work, and the Charlotte Business Journal's Best Places to Work . The criteria for each list varied but final selections were based on a combination of data compiled by the company's human resources department and information collected in employee surveys initiated by the publications. Human resource criteria can include corporate headcount growth, turnover, benefit offerings, and salaries. Employee surveys measure opinions on topics such as company leadership, benefits, compensation, and community service initiatives.
Ann Puddister, general manager of Human Resources and Payroll for Jack Henry & Associates, said, "For more than three decades, our company philosophy – do the right thing, do whatever it takes, and have fun – has served as a foundation for our associates.
