depicts the federal actions against the state's
dispensaries in storybook fashion.
For the last several years, the U.S. Attorney for the
, has waged a brutal offensive against
patients and the dispensaries where they get their medicine.
This offensive has closed hundreds of state-legal, locally compliant dispensaries in
and threatens others like Harborside Health Center. Oaksterdam University in
was raided on
April 2, 2012
, by DEA and IRS agents.
The Haag is meant to be a humorous meditation on a very serious subject. Inspired by Dr. Seuss and conceived by activist-attorney
, The Haag was written and illustrated by Goose Duarte, a.k.a. "Dr. Geuss."
