Michael Bublé To Host CTV's Broadcast Of THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS, April 21

"We are privileged to have Michael Bublé take the helm as host of CTV's 2013 JUNO AWARDS broadcast," said Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports. "Mr. Bublé will no doubt impress Canadian audiences on the biggest and most spectacular night in Canadian music."

"This year's show is sure to be second to none with Michael Bublé lighting up the stage with his infallible charm and charisma," said Melanie Berry, President & CEO, CARAS/The JUNO Awards. "I can't wait to see his incredible sense of humour shine!"

"Michael is without a doubt, one of the coolest and funniest guys in showbiz," said John Brunton, Executive Producer, THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS.  "He's an absolute superstar and truly one of Canada's greatest ambassadors. This year the stars and moon have lined up and we're giving Canadians what they want, Michael Bublé."

Airing Sunday, April 21 from the Brandt Centre in Regina, tickets for THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS go on sale on Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. CST. Tickets range from $59 to $189 (plus taxes and service charges) and are available through the Evraz Place Box Office, by phone at 1-800-970-7328, and online at Nominations for the 2013 JUNO Awards will be announced on February 19, with further announcements on performers, presenters, and tickets to follow in the coming weeks.

A four-time JUNO Award performer and eleven-time JUNO Award winner, Bublé's trademark style has taken the world by storm since he first burst onto the music scene. Born in Burnaby, B.C., Bublé had dreamt of being a musician since he was just two-years-old. His self-titled, debut album, released in 2003, featured classic standards, including "Fever" and "The Way You Look Tonight". The album launched Bublé into the limelight, seeing him win New Artist of the Year at the 2004 JUNO Awards. Bublé's second studio album, It's Time, released the following year, again included classic standards, and as well included the original track "Home" which hit the top of the pop radio charts. The album won four JUNO Awards and, that same year, Bublé received his first two GRAMMY ® Award nominations. With the success of his third and fourth albums, Call Me Irresponsible and Crazy Love, he continued his meteoric rise to international acclaim, with appearances on OPRAH, THE X FACTOR, and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, as well as taking part in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games torch relay in Vancouver before the opening ceremony.

Since CTV joined forces with CARAS in 2002, THE JUNO AWARDS have travelled all across Canada and back, bringing the biggest show in Canadian music to millions of Canadians live in person and on television. CTV has broadcast THE JUNO AWARDS from St. John's (2002), Ottawa (2003), Edmonton (2004), Winnipeg (2005), Halifax (2006), Saskatoon (2007), Calgary (2008), Vancouver (2009), back to St. John's (2010), Toronto (2011), back to Ottawa (2012) and now, for the first time, Regina (2013).
