KB Home Unveils Plans For New Communities In Dublin

KB Home (NYSE:KBH), one of the nation’s largest and most recognized homebuilders, today announced that it has purchased land in Dublin’s master-plan development of Positano, acquiring a total of 182 home sites for two new communities, Fallon Ridge and The Heights at Positano. Fallon Ridge is scheduled to grand open this spring, with The Heights at Positano expected to open in late summer. KB Home has already enjoyed success at Positano, having completed another community, Cantara at Positano, in 2010. It is also currently selling its new homes at two other communities in Dublin — Amador Pointe and Crossroads at Emerald Vista.

“Dublin is among the Bay Area’s fastest growing submarkets, and Positano is certainly one of its residential gems,” said Chris Apostolopoulos, president of KB Home’s Northern California division. “Given how popular our prior offerings at Positano were with area homebuyers, we are pleased to be able to offer our homes here again. When you consider Positano’s visually stunning location, more than 10 acres of parks and trails, as well as its proximity to city centers, this neighborhood is truly a haven for Bay Area homebuyers.”

KB Home’s new acquisition, situated in the sprawling hills of Dublin, is surrounded by hundreds of acres of open space, offering scenic panoramic views and plenty of recreational opportunities like golfing, biking and hiking, as well as premium shopping and entertainment in nearby Pleasanton. The community is also close to San Jose, Oakland and Berkeley, giving residents at both Fallon Ridge and the Heights at Positano the convenience of easy access to major employment areas.

KB Home’s Fallon Ridge will offer home shoppers a collection of two-story single-family homes, ranging between 2,049 and 2,692 square feet, with plans including up to five bedrooms and three baths. The Heights at Positano will offer two-story single-family homes, ranging from 3,005 and 3,487 square feet, with plans including up to five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.
