announces the introduction of the Micro6 — a high efficacy LED or supremely efficient T5 lighting solution for contemporary architectural ceiling systems. The 4' long by 6" wide recessed architectural luminaire is designed to integrate with both standard and specialty ceiling systems creating clean lines of narrow illumination available in efficient LED, T5 and T5HO light sources.
LED version (LM6R) delivers best-in-class efficacies up to 100 lumens per watt. It comes standard in four lumen packages from 2,000 to 4,000 lumens in a choice of three color temperatures (3000K, 3500K and 4000K). The
Micro6 LM6R LED
features a high quality light output with 82 CRI and a long 50,000 hours life at L80 lumen maintenance. The
versions are available with 1, 2 or 3 lamps that deliver efficient 28W T5 or 54W T5HO symmetric downlight distribution. Rated at 25,000+ hours, the supremely efficient T5 and T5HO sources provide up to 95% lumen maintenance.
Both LED and T5 versions of the Micro6 offer a variety of versatile options including Opal Acrylic (OA) or High Efficiency (HE) flush or regressed snap-in lens options. A variety of comprehensive control options augment the inherently sustainable sources. Micro6 offers different driver/ballast options, which are compatible with occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, and other common systems. Micro6 can also be purchased factory enabled for use with Hubbell's exclusive wiHUBB™ wireless control system, allowing users to wirelessly group, zone, and dim equipped fixtures as part of a larger peer-to-peer mesh network system.
The sturdy, elegant design of the Micro6 accommodates a multitude of installation options without adding complexity. Designed to integrate with standard or specialty ceilings, Micro6 has grid or slot grid options that are compatible with Armstrong TechZone™ and USG LOGIX™ ceiling systems, or standard T-bar and slot grid systems. A flange option is compatible with drywall, hard lid, wood or other hard surface structures and conceals rough-in openings with an attractive mitered frame to deliver another versatile installation solution ideal for contemporary architectural installations.
