Representatives of Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Chartered Accountants Ireland, Narvik University College in Norway and Université Paris Sud will share their expertise with a pan-European audience of webcasting professionals from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Sweden, Luxembourg and Ireland.
“Oxford University uses Mediasite for its distance-learning and part-time students. Regardless of where they are, they can watch their professors in real-time and feel as though they are face-to-face in the classroom,” said Sean Faughnan, director of Oxford University’s Technology-Assisted Lifelong Learning team. “The MUG Europe Forum will connect me with webcasting leaders, and I’ll leave with new ideas about how to advance Oxford’s lecture capture program to reach even more students.”“The forum is a unique opportunity for Mediasite users across Europe to meet and collaborate around today’s hot video topics. With over 1,100 Mediasite User Group members worldwide, we know they’ll leave the conference energized and equipped with knowledge to advance their video programs at home,” said Rob Lipps, Sonic Foundry’s executive vice president.
