NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Bunge (NYSE:BG) hit a new 52-week high Tuesday as it is currently trading at $77.88, above its previous 52-week high of $77.47 with 502,700 shares traded as of 12:16 p.m. ET. Average volume has been 817,500 shares over the past 30 days.

Bunge has a market cap of $11.26 billion and is part of the consumer goods sector and food & beverage industry. Shares are up 5.9% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday.

Bunge Limited, through its subsidiaries, engages in the agriculture and food businesses worldwide. The company has a P/E ratio of 13, below the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
