Girl Rising Releases Theatrical Trailer Following Film Preview At Sundance

Girl Rising will premiere in New York, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles, and on demand in hundreds of cities across the country. Theatrical distribution platform, Gathr, empowers people everywhere to follow a few simple steps to crowdsource Girl Rising into movie theaters across the nation.

A portion of Girl Rising ticket sales will go to support girls' programs around the world through the 10x10 Fund for Girls' Education. The Fund goes to 10x10's high-impact network of non-profit partners and leaders in girls' education: A New Day Cambodia, CARE, Girl Up/United Nations Foundation, Partners in Health, Plan International USA, Room to Read, UNICEF, and World Vision.

REQUESTOnce registered, go to the Gathr a Screening form and request your preferred theater location, date and time.

RISEOnce requested, Gathr will then give participants a personalized URL to invite friends, family and colleagues to join the screening (10x10 has created resources to do this). Once enough people have reserved tickets, a Girl Rising screening is "tipped," and the theater will be reserved.
