NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Motorola Solutions (NYSE:MSI) hit a new 52-week high Tuesday as it is currently trading at $58.88, above its previous 52-week high of $58.16 with 30,972 shares traded as of 9:31 a.m. ET. Average volume has been 1.7 million shares over the past 30 days.

Motorola has a market cap of $16.55 billion and is part of the technology sector and telecommunications industry. Shares are up 6% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday.
