HAZARD, FRANKFORT, DANVILLE, and LANCASTER, Ky., Jan. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kentucky First Federal Bancorp (Nasdaq:KFFB), the holding company for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Hazard and First Federal Savings Bank of Frankfort, announced that the Company's Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.10 per share, payable on February 19, 2013, to stockholders of record as of January 31, 2013. Tony Whitaker, Chairman, stated that the Board of Directors determined that the payment of the dividend was appropriate in light of the Company's capital position and financial condition.
The Company also announced that it named W. Banks Hudson and William H. Johnson to its Board of Directors. Messrs. Hudson and Johnson had previously served on the Board of Directors of CKF Bancorp, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Central Kentucky Federal Savings Bank, both of which were located in Danville, Kentucky.
