Vice President Biden will address the nation's mayors at the Opening Plenary Luncheon of the U.S. Conference of Mayor Winter Meeting to be held in the Presidential Ballroom (2 nd Floor) of the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.

Saturday, January 19 to meet with Congressional leaders and Administration officials to push for a balanced approach to deficit reduction and sequestration cuts, as well as measures to spur jobs and economic growth in America's cities and metropolitan areas that are still plagued with high unemployment. Other issues topping the agenda are gun control and school safety, Hurricane Sandy response, immigration, and the threat to tax exempt municipal bonds.
