TD Employees Contribute More Than $2.6 Million To United Way

CHERRY HILL, N.J. and PORTLAND, Maine, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Employees from TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank ^®, TD Auto Finance and TD Securities contributed more than $2.6 million to United Way through the bank's annual Employee Giving Campaign.

The employee contribution is a 19 percent increase over last year's donations and will be distributed to 129 local United Ways and thousands of other non-profit organizations. The Employee Giving Campaign ran from Nov. 14 through Dec. 7, 2012 and offered TD employees the option to direct their contributions to United Way, community charities, United Way's Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund and the American Red Cross' Superstorm Sandy Relief Fund.
