Lois Melbourne Promoted To Vice Chair Of Peoplefluent

WALTHAM, Mass. and RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --  Peoplefluent®, a leading social human capital management technology company, today announced the promotion of Lois Melbourne, co-founder and CEO of Aquire, to vice chair of Peoplefluent. In her new role, Ms. Melbourne will be responsible for the delivery and proliferation of the company's product innovation and strategy messaging to the marketplace and global customers. This new corporate position was created after two years of significant technology advancement at the company, and following a year in which Peoplefluent was acknowledged as a breakout HCM leader. In 2012, the company earned a host of accolades, including Best Product of the Year by Human Resources Executive and " Awesome New Technology" at the HR Technology Conference and Expo. Leading the Talent Management market with a new social collaboration platform, Peoplefluent identified its longest leading market-facing executive in Ms. Melbourne to deliver the company's compelling new market vision.

"Peoplefluent has had an extraordinary year with market-changing product innovation, suite-expanding acquisitions, value-creating investments and vision-endorsing client additions. Today, we have a strong opportunity to help customers worldwide change their own outcomes with enhanced employee collaboration, engagement and contribution through our leading social and Mobile Talent Management solutions," said Charles S. Jones, chairman and CEO of Peoplefluent. "With nearly 20 years of leadership and growth in the HCM analytics and workforce planning arena, Lois has built important industry relationships and has been a powerful, informed and consistent voice in the marketplace. She has a deep understanding of the human resources agenda and fully appreciates the value our suite can deliver to change the landscape and success of the businesses we serve."

Neal Bruce, vice president of Product Marketing for the full Talent Management suite will report into Ms. Melbourne. She will report directly into Mr. Jones.

Peoplefluent purchased Aquire in 2011, which brought industry-leading workforce analytics to the company's broad Talent Management portfolio. Since the launch of Aquire in 1994, Ms. Melbourne has held the CEO post and has operated as the company's market and product "co-visionary," along with her husband and co-founder, Ross Melbourne. Her industry expertise and strategic direction have helped transform the company from a fledgling innovator in basic org charts into the leader in workforce planning and analytics solutions. Currently, more than 2,700 organizations in 125 countries rely on Aquire solutions to manage data for 10 million working professionals.

In her career at Aquire, Ms. Melbourne's focus on furthering the company's vision — supporting customers with HR solutions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, workforce integration, succession planning and replacement, organizational design planning, workforce structure management, compensation planning and workforce analytics – has been instrumental to customers large and small. She has also quite successfully driven the industry business development and public recognition for the firm.
