The Dow Jones industrial average rose 17.21 points to 13,488.43. The Nasdaq composite index rose 3.87 to 3,125.63. The S&P 500 was little changed, closing at 1,472.05.Benchmark oil dropped 26 cents to finish at $93.56 a barrel in New York. Brent crude, used to price international varieties of oil, fell $1.25 to end at $110.64 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London.
