Throughout the day, 1.9 million shares of Ctrip.com International exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 2.6 million shares. The stock ranged in a price between $23.81-$24.46 after having opened the day at $23.81 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $23.94. Ctrip.com International, Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, provides travel services for hotel accommodations, airline tickets, and packaged tours in the People's Republic of China. Ctrip.com International has a market cap of $3.27 billion and is part of the services sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 21, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 4% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday. Currently there are four analysts that rate Ctrip.com International a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and seven rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Ctrip.com International as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and expanding profit margins. However, as a counter to these strengths, we also find weaknesses including deteriorating net income, disappointing return on equity and a generally disappointing performance in the stock itself.
