Nordstrom Rack To Open In Naples, FL.

SEATTLE, Jan. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc., (NYSE: JWN) announced today plans to open a Nordstrom Rack in Naples, FL at The Mercato. The approximately 30,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2013. 

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., carrying on-trend merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50 to 60 percent off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers a wide selection of apparel, accessories and shoes from many of the brands carried in Nordstrom stores. These items are purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, with most at savings of 30 to 70 percent off.

Nordstrom operates nine full-line and eight Rack stores in Florida, including its location at Waterside Shops in Naples. "We're fortunate to have lots of customers living in south Florida and hope this new store will make it more convenient for our Naples customers to shop both our full-line and Rack locations," said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack.

The new Nordstrom Rack will be conveniently located off of US-41 and will be just two miles north of the Nordstrom full-line store at Waterside Shops. The new two-level Rack store will occupy the former Borders book store and will join a vibrant retail and restaurant scene. Nearby stores include Whole Foods, Ulta, Sur La Table, Capital Grille and Blue Martini, among others. Madison Marquette Retail Services owns and manages The Mercato.
