(NASDAQ: ATHN), a leading provider of cloud-based electronic health record ( EHR), practice management, and care coordination services to medical groups and health systems, today announced that Prospira PainCare has signed an agreement to standardize on athenahealth’s cloud-based services across their nationwide network of pain management practices. Prospira PainCare will deploy athenahealth’s Best in KLAS cloud-based practice management and EHR services, athenaCollector® and athenaClinicals®, and cloud-based patient communication service, athenaCommunicator®, to its growing network of pain management professionals. Prospira PainCare will also utilize health care business intelligence services from Anodyne Health Partners, Inc., an athenahealth company.
