Skyhook And Philips Lifeline Join Forces To Develop Location Platform For Mobile Personal Emergency Response System

Skyhook, Inc., the global leader in location positioning, context and intelligence, and Philips Lifeline, the leading provider of personal emergency response services (PERs) in North America, announced a collaboration to incorporate Skyhook’s hybrid location platform into Philips’ Lifeline GoSafe mobile PERs offering. Philips Lifeline will be demonstrating the GoSafe system during the 2013 International CES event, booth #26722 in Las Vegas from January 8 ^th through January 11 ^th.

Skyhook’s hybrid location service will be part of a suite of locating technologies used with the new GoSafe system and designed to help provide Lifeline Response Associates with the location information needed to support locating of users in the event of an emergency.
