Frontier Airlines today announced it will return its low-fare service to Columbus Airport (CMH), with new nonstop service to Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN), the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital, all of central New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia. Frontier will launch three weekly nonstop flights on this route starting April 8, 2013.
To celebrate the new service Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $29 each way available for purchase through Jan. 23, 2013, at FlyFrontier.com.
“This is a great day for us at Frontier as we provide neighbors of the Columbus region a convenient, low-fare option to the northeast,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Customers who take advantage of our low fare, nonstop service to Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy an airport with fewer hassles and convenient parking, skip the congested and expensive Newark and Philadelphia airports, and they’ll also earn triple EarlyReturns® miles through May.”
“We welcome the return of Frontier Airlines and their nonstop service to the Princeton/Trenton area from Port Columbus. This new route will become popular with Columbus travelers as an alternative access point to the very popular travel areas of Philadelphia and New York,” said David Whitaker, Vice President of Business Development & Communications for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, which operates Port Columbus International Airport.Following is the schedule for the service between Columbus and Princeton/Trenton:
