Frontier Airlines today announced it will return its low-fare service to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), with new nonstop service to Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN), the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital, all of central New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia. Frontier will launch six weekly nonstop flights on this route starting April 8, 2013.
To celebrate the new service Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $29 each way available for purchase through Jan. 23, 2013, at FlyFrontier.com.
“This is a great day for us at Frontier as we bring the Raleigh-Durham region a convenient, low-fare option to the northeast,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Customers who take advantage of our low fare, nonstop service to Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy an airport with fewer hassles and convenient parking, skip the congested and expensive Newark and Philadelphia airports, and also earn triple EarlyReturns® miles through May.”
“RDU welcomes Frontier’s return to our market,” said RDU Airport Director Mike Landguth. “We also welcome the only nonstop service to central New Jersey, which will also offer our passengers additional options to Philadelphia and Newark.”Following is the schedule for service between Raleigh-Durham and Princeton/Trenton:
