Lumber Liquidators Names James J. Costa Vice President Of International Sales

Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL), the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in the U.S., today announced the appointment of James J. Costa as the Company’s Vice President of International Sales. In this new position, Mr. Costa will oversee the development and operation of the Company’s non-store, international sales efforts. Mr. Costa will work closely with the Company’s marketing, merchandising and supply chain departments, and will report directly to Chief Marketing Officer, Marco Pescara.

Mr. Pescara commented, “We are extremely pleased to have an executive with James’ knowledge and skills lead our efforts to promote Lumber Liquidators’ industry-leading brands around the world. James has more than 18 years of experience directing business development in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia – Pacific. We plan to leverage our global buying expertise and private label brands as we develop an international sales force.”

Mr. Costa most recently served as Director of International Sales for Overhead Door Corporation, where he managed a network of more than 100 international dealers and distributors. Previously, he developed, implemented and directed international sales efforts for companies providing advanced wellness products, architectural building products and high-end plumbing, hardware and lighting.

Mr. Pescara and Mr. Costa will represent Lumber Liquidators at Domotex, a premier international flooring trade show in Hanover, Germany, from January 12 - 15, 2013.
